I really wish I liked Amitava Kumar's novel, "Immigrant, Montana", better than I did. I enjoy books about Indians and Indian-Americans, but somehow just couldn't get more than about half-way through the book. Set in the early 1990's, it's the story of a young Indian student who comes to the US.
